“Legs” Go to the Park!
Gyms are great for lots of reasons, but they might not be the best option for everybody.
Maybe a gym membership is out of your budget, or perhaps you just aren’t a gym person--either way, don’t get complacent about your fitness.
At the end of the day, your body is really the only thing you have--and if you want it to be there for you down the line, you ought to take good care of it now.
In the video clip below, I demonstrate an exercise progression that you can do at the park with a bench (or at home with any sturdy platform), consisting of:
Step-ups
Lunges/Step-ups combo
Plyometric Jump-ups
Pistol Squats
Trainer Tip
Don’t be in a hurry to get to the advanced stuff right away. Remember to start with the basics and build up at your own pace.
