Parkour is as much psychological as it is physical -- the challenge is more often in the mind. [...]

Getting your first pull-up, muscle-up, one-arm chin-up, etc. is an incredibly satisfying feeling. Congrats! Just don't let that confidence turn into cockiness - find a new challenge that humbles you and reminds you that you're always a beginner is some sense.

Another great post. Mental toughness or mental disipline is everthing and very under valued in terms of training. Most people teach mental toughnes through stupid affirmations. Best way to get stronger with the mind is through hard work and accomplishing adveristies. Like you, learning how to do a MU was something I thought I never would be able to do, but now that I can, I noticed I strut more with confidence. Working on the ring muscle ups now. Your last post is going to help me!

Thanks,
J
